Your case

Your case is in the evidence-gathering phase. On March 14 your lawyer asked the other side to hand over documents.

Next: their response is due April 10.

There is nothing you need to do right now. If anything changes, you will receive an email.

One matter. You see the file; your client sees where things stand.

Capabilities

Designed from the client's side of the matter.

Most practice management is built for the firm, with a client portal added at the end. Zennix begins with what the client sees and works back from there — because a client who can follow their own matter has no reason to call and ask about it.

01 Client portal

Clients follow their own matter

Every client sees a plain-English view of their case: its current stage, what happens next, the documents you have chosen to share, and a direct message thread with your office.

  • Visibility is set by you. Internal notes stay internal. A document is shared only once you say so.
  • Written for the client, not the file. Stages read as sentences, not status codes.
  • One thread per matter. Messages stay attached to the case rather than scattered across inboxes.
02 Intake

Enquiries arrive as matters

Share a link and a prospective client describes their situation — no account required, nothing to install.

  • A queue, not an inbox. Submissions arrive somewhere you can triage them, with nothing lost to a spam folder.
  • One click opens the matter. The client record and the case are created from what they already typed.
  • Names checked as they arrive. A conflict search runs across your existing clients and opposing parties.
03 Research

Case law beside the file

Search opinions and dockets through CourtListener without leaving the matter you are working on.

  • Saved to the matter. Citations land on the case file rather than in a browser tab you will close.
  • Your file is not the training set. Nothing from a matter is sent anywhere until you choose to include it.
  • Primary sources, cited. Results link to the opinion itself, so you can read what it actually says.
Approach

Built the other way round.

Zennix is not trying to be a bigger version of what already exists. These are the decisions it makes differently, and each one costs something — they are trade-offs, not advantages.

How Zennix's approach differs from the usual one, across six decisions
Decision Zennix The usual approach
Where the design starts From what the client sees, working back to the file. From the firm's file, with a client portal added afterwards.
Who it is sized for One to roughly fifteen people. Above that it is the wrong tool. One product stretched from a solo to a firm of hundreds.
Getting started Open it and work. No migration project, no onboarding call required. Implementation, data migration, and training before first use.
Client data and AI Nothing from a matter is sent to a model unless you include it for that question. Assistants with standing access to the file, described in the privacy policy.
What it will not do Published on this page, before you sign up. Found during evaluation, or after.
Cost today Nothing during early access. Pricing is not set. Per seat, monthly, rising as the firm grows.
Suitability

Who Zennix is built for.

It is a better use of your time to know now whether this is a fit.

Well suited to

  • Solo practitioners and firms of up to roughly fifteen people
  • Practice areas where clients are anxious and contact the office often — family, tenant, immigration, employment
  • Firms prepared to work with software early and report what needs to change

Not yet supported

  • Court e-filing integration
  • Enterprise deployment, custom branding, or API access
  • Trust accounting and IOLTA compliance
Early access

Now in limited release.

Zennix is in active development and is not yet generally available. Access is open to a small number of firms willing to run real matters on it and report what needs to change. There is no cost during the early access period.

Your details are used only to arrange access and are not shared with anyone.
